Material: Hard flame retardant polyvinyl chloride (PVC) with a temperature resistance of -5 °C to +60 °C is used for boxes 8101 - 8119.

Self-extinguishing polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE) with a temperature resistance of -5 °C to +60 °C is used for boxes 8130 and 8135.

Self-extinguishing polypropylene (PP) and polycarbonate (PC) with a temperature resistance of -25 to +60 °C is used for the KSK series.

The boxes meet the requirements of EN 60 670-1 Art. 18 for resistance to excessive heat and hot-loop combustion with a temperature of 650 °C (850 °C for KSK series boxes).

KOPOS KOLÍN a.s. as a manufacturer recommends the installation of boxes (except for types 003.CS.K and 005.CS.K ) on and in building materials of reaction to fire class A1 to C or D in the meaning of ČSN EN 13 501-1.

In combination with a 5 mm thick thermal insulating non-combustible backing, installation on building materials can be carried out without restriction of reaction to fire class A1 - F.

In the case of mounting on building materials of reaction to fire class A2 to C or D within the meaning of EN 13 501-1, they are intended for distribution systems with a voltage of 400 V and a current of max. 16 A.

In the case of mounting on building materials of reaction to fire class A1or with thermal insulation pad, they are intended for distribution systems with a voltage of 500 V.

Type 003.CS.K and 005.CS.K boxes can only be used on construction materials of reaction to fire class A1.
