LED bulbs as the most efficient replacement for conventional bulbs with the most common E27 thread and classic bulb size. Consumer ranges from leading lamp manufacturers Philips and Osram. These product lines are designed for the end consumer where professional applications are not involved in relation to the lifetime and technical requirements of all-day lighting. Most of these economic options are sources that cannot be dimmed or controlled in any way. This is precisely for the reason of achieving the cheapest and most accessible option for a wide group of consumer-households. These LED sources already have high energy savings in these designs, up to 80% compared to conventional incandescent bulbs, energy class A+. The lifespan of these LED bulbs is around 15,000 light hours at 100,000 switching cycles, which in a standard household represents a lifespan of more than 8 years with daily 5-hour lighting! No problem, save up to 80% of electricity. Simply replace the E27 bulb with an E27 LED bulb, while paying no more than for a conventional bulb. Compared to conventional sources, which had low efficiency and especially a "low lifetime", the Led consumer series sources have up to athree times longer lifetime and it is therefore easy to calculate that the purchase, in this case we can talk about an investment, is really worthwhile.
The brand manufacturer Osram presents products in this series under the name Led star classic A E27 in wattages of 2W as a replacement for classic incandescent bulbs with a high15W, 5W as a 25W bulb, 8W as a 40W bulb, 9W as a 50W bulb, 10W as a 60W bulb with a chromaticity temperature of 2700°K incandescent light and in the 10W variant also in daylight white with a chromaticity temperature of 6500°K.
The other leading manufacturer of branded light sources, Philips, introduces Led bulbs in this product line under the name CorePro LED bulb. In the range we find a wattage of 5W as a 32W replacement, 8W as a 48W, 10W as a 60W and the most powerful 13W as a 75W conventional bulb replacement. These Philips LEDs come in 2700°K incandescent light, 3000°K warm white and in the 10W and 13W ranges also 6500°K cool daylight.
